Coquitlam, BC - Moment Energy, North America's leading EV battery repurposing company, is proud to announce its successful project deployment with TUGLIQ Energy in the Pop Up City Contest initiated by the Canadian Department of National Defence.
The deployment, aimed at integrating energy, water, and waste management systems for relocatable temporary camps (RTCs), saw TUGLIQ Energy emerge as a top developer with its cutting-edge microgrid solution. Moment Energy’s battery energy storage system (BESS), paired with a solar array and wind turbine reduced fuel needs at RTCs by at least 33%, demonstrating a substantial advancement in minimizing diesel consumption in military camp environments.
The seamless integration of Moment Energy’s BESS technology into TUGLIQ Energy's microgrid, facilitated by a partnership with ComAp and Jenso Controls, was met with commendation for its performance and installation.
“TUGLIQ Energy is pleased with Moment Energy's system. Their BESS technology was a great match for our requirements, delivering optimal performance, seamless installation, commissioning, and integration into our microgrid solution. Moreover, their team was highly responsive and demonstrated utmost professionalism!” says Guillaume Marquaille, Head of Projects at TUGLIQ Energie.
"We are honoured by TUGLIQ Energy’s recognition of our technology and team," said Gurmesh Sidhu, co-founder & CPO of Moment Energy. "Our mission is to provide worldwide access to clean, affordable, and reliable power. This collaboration is proof of our commitment and ability to create robust and safe battery energy storage systems."
