Who is Gurmesh Sidhu?

Gurmesh Sidhu is the co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Moment Energy, leading product management and devising the firm's pricing strategy and business model. Previously, he led a team of over 40 engineering students at SFU's Team Phantom to build an electric race vehicle. In 2021, Gurmesh was recognized as one of Canada's Top 50 Business Change Makers by the Globe and Mail, and in 2023 received the Forbes 30 Under 30 award.

‍Gurmesh is a graduate of SFU, where he earned his degree in Mechatronics Systems Engineering. Beyond his professional life, Gurmesh is an ultra trail runner. His passion for outdoor pursuits speaks to Gurmesh's broader commitment to environmental stewardship and his belief in the harmony between human endeavour and nature.
