Who is Edward Chiang?‍

Edward Chiang and his three best friends co-founded Moment Energy with the goal of providing universal access to clean and reliable energy by upcycling retired electric vehicle batteries. He is the company's CEO and leads its growth strategy and ensures the company has the resources needed as it grows as a foremost expert in EV battery end-of-life and scales into a billion-dollar Impact company. Moment's experience in engineering has led him to gain experience in the manufacturing, provincial-level process, and nuclear energy industry. He was recognized in 2023 as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30. In his free time, he enjoys mentoring young Royal Canadian Air Cadets and flying with his Glider Pilot and Private Pilot’s License and has personally trained over fifteen 16-17 year olds to successfully become pilots who now fly for airlines across the world.
